CAREER DISCOVERY SESSIONS
WE ARE EXCITED TO BRING THIS PROGRAM TO YOUR AREA FOR THE FIRST TIME.
The meetings are designed for women, from 16-65, who live in the north and north western areas of Tasmania who would like to know a little more about job roles in the disability industry.
We are organising friendly meetings, for small groups of people, in your local town. Sessions will be informal, about an hour long and we will be offering light refreshments.
People who are working in the disability industry will attend and they are keen to tell you about their jobs. Employers in the disability industry have jobs available and are looking for new employees…

- Jobs, careers and the various roles within the disability sector
- Transferable skills and career guidance support
- Work expectations and workplace discovery sessions
- Follow up career support sessions
- Meet people with disabilities and guest speakers
